#REVIEW BENTON ALOE BHA SKIN TONER - 200 ML
First off, I'd like to congratulate myself for choosing this toner without hesitation and MAKE THIS CAPTION TWICE because I stupidly deleted the first one. Shit. But okay. Anyway, I'd like to make it simple so here you go
#1 packaging
Comes with green pump bottle which I like because it keeps the product's hygiene. The horrible thing is when I tried to pump, I sometimes pump too hard and the holy water sprayed to the floor. This is when I held a short deep condolences moment. After all, this comes with 200ml in size which means, not travel friendly unless you got small container. (or maybe you can buy the sample size. It costs less than IDR 20k)
#2 The product itself.
It is not creamy. Not too diluted either. Maybe because it doesn't use water but aloe leaf extract (yes it is a liquid too but thicker than water). Transparent in color with a hint of white but almost transparent (okay?). So, just because it's pretty liquidy (is that even a word), doesnt mean you have to pour it onto cotton pad or another pad. BECAUSE, it contains a miracle-like ingredients (not really but seriously they re diamonds). Ur pad probably gets more prettier than your skin bc it absorbed into the pad's cell and left you the useless wet-feelings. What is this.. The smell, well, I thought it was fragrance free with a hint of herb-like smells (aloe-kinda smells). It didn't bother me at all, and now im getting used to it since it's not too smelly.
#3 Ingredients.
Ladies and gents, I present you the cosdna analysis. As you can see, there is no red scores. It means this product is absolutely safe. If you ever broke out or something go check your other skincare ingredients.
#4 the results.
This part is the longest. Whatsoever. So, it claims to
- Skin-trouble care: yes. Thanks to the active ingredients, this works pretty wow. You know aloe is a good dude. And heres salicylic acid which is for relieve inflammation & redness, treats clogged pores and circulate skin's cells (I swear to god I can remember this by heart).
- Moisture supply: im an oily and acne prone gurl so I, of course, search for something to squeeze out my sebum without making it dry and this what the toner did! Not really squeezing bc I got help from my emulsion (review later), but at least I'm not like the girl who got oil-tanks on her face while keeping the natural so-called-moisturizing oil.
- Dead skin cell and blackhead care: well, I used to have lots, and I mean really lots, of black and white heads. The toner fairly reduced it but I kinda confused with their "could SMOOTHLY MANAGE your dead skin cells and blackheads" claims. I mean, why the hell do I have to manage those freakin things smOOTHLY?! Lol. Yea, some pores still proudly smiling on my face.
- skin texture control: didnt get this for the first 1 months but my skin kinda better nowadays. Make up tends to quickly settled (i dont even have a proper make up sets, but it really increase my skin texture). Oh, and I always used it after double-cleanse my face, while my face felt like sahara (okay that was too much. Not really but kinda stretchy), I used this toner by gently tap on my face and I felt awesome.
- Pores care/improve skin barrier: just like I mentioned before about my stubborn pores. But regardless of the pores, my skin felt a bit lifted.
- Prevention on skin damage: this one worth the COTTON PAD. So, whenever I got acnes, I popped it off and then I relieved it by putting the soaked pad onto my face. It relieved my irritations and calmed my skin with its cooling sensation. Uh~~ And it really does help my stressed-skin caused by my sleeping and not-a-really-fan-of-drinking-water habit.
- Relieve itchiness caused by dry skin: dont ask me because I have no idea. But I believed Benton isn't lying.
Conclusion:
Pros
+ controling excesa sebum
+ hydrating as toner
+ cheap and worth a grab!
+ the ingredients are super safe!
+ fragrance free (got hint of herb like smells but only for the first couple uses)
+ spread-able and the 200 ml size can lasts up to 6 months!
+ Treat my skin's texture
Cons:
- The pump is too hard, might spoil some contains but it can be handled
- Its size isn't travel friendly
- Not really treats the pores but still pretty good.
So, overall, I give it 9/10
Repurchase? with pleasure but I WANT TO TRY SECRET KEY ESSENCE BC IT IS SO DAMN GOOD (from reviews. Ehe)
I bought this from shopee for IDR 160.000 and I can tell that it is worth a grab! For 200 ml, it can lasts up to 6 months!
K, thank you for reading brads!
